Innovations & Milestones

Important Milestones

  • 2020

    E3633 with 33kV discharge

By far the most powerful electrodes on the market with intelligent control are delivered. The E3633 is particularly suitable for wide and changing distance ranges.

  • 2020

    Iontis expands

In order to meet the growing demand, Iontis is creating more space and premises by extending and raising the building.

  • 2019

    F3024-XS space miracle in 24VDC

Miniaturisation of high-performance electronics is pushed forward: the shortest discharge bars in 24 VDC on the market are added to the range.

  • 2019

    E3015-24V Ionising airgun 24VDC

Iontis launches an amazingly lightweight 24 VDC ionising airgun, saving customers the need for rigid and vulnerable high voltage cables and power supplies.

  • 2018

    E3016 Multi-Purpose Air Nozzle

Iontis launches a multifunction blowing nozzle with selectable outlet: from a point blowing nozzle, fan blowing nozzle, immersion lance nozzle to an efficient inline solution, everything is possible.

  • 2018

E4800 smallest Spot Type ioniser in 24VDC

With the credit card-sized spot ioniser in 24 VDC technology, Fraser’s developers set a benchmark of what is possible in terms of size.

  • 2017

E4700 Ion Nozzle for low residual charges

With the E4700, the first product in the portfolio specially developed for ESD applications in high-frequency technology is brought to market.

  • 2017

E3014 compact Standard Bar in 24VDC

With the launch of the 20% more powerful E3014, which is identical in size to the AC electrode, we have rounded off our 24 VDC discharge bar portfolio.

  • 2016

    A7320, A730150, A760150 New Charging Generator

The increasing demand in the recharging sector has been met with a new series of generators: now also a 60kV generator and a universal field bus architecture with modules such as Profibus. In 2018 the compact A7320 is the first generator in the market to receive UL certification.

  • 2015

    Iontis relocates in own premises

After about 4 months of reconstruction, a former community hall was turned into a commercially usable property and offers Iontis many times the space.

  • 2015

    E34xx Serie Longrange Antistatic Bar

The E34xx wide range electrodes have been developed in three power levels to suit different applications, distance ranges and budgets.

  • 2013

    Partner Award

Iontis receives Fraser’s “Partner of the Year Award 2013” for good cooperation at all levels: sales, development and production.

  • 2013

    Special development for scale manufacturer

Together we developed a very small ioniser as an optional accessory for a manufacturer of fine balances and also provided it with a USB interface in 2016.

  • 2012

    A1230 ultracompact Charging Generator

With the small and easy to use charging generator with up to 30kV and 2 connections, Iontis fills a gap in the market.

  • 2012

    F3024 in 2 versions

The F3024 introduces the robust workhorse in 24 VDC: with a version for fast web and a version for extended distance range. Until today a reliable sales hit.

  • 2010

    Joint Development E3111

As the first tangible result of the development cooperation, the patented contamination monitoring from the 24 VDC E5000, which is still unique today, is merged with the E3100 AC high voltage power supply from Fraser.

  • 2010

    Partnership with Fraser

IONTIS Elektrostatik takes over the distribution of Fraser products in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Benelux.

  • 2009

    First E5000 shipped

When the company started, the first E5000 electrodes could already be delivered commercially to customers.

  • 2009

    Company foundation

Innovation Focus

The systematic development process of the Iontis portfolio is determined by the gaps in the market. Searches are not only conducted with regard to the strength of ionizers, but in all directions:

  • Less current consumption at higher power
  • More even discharge/charge
  • Built-in HV generation / 24 VDC supply
  • Smaller products with more stable design
  • Sensor technology and signal processing
  • Even easier installation
  • Even easier to maintain
  • Improvement of installed systems regardless of the manufacturer

Many products are developed together with Fraser: whether from projects with Iontis customers, based on Iontis prototypes, on the basis of specifications and requirement specifications, or division of labour in development.

Fabian and Philipp Ludwig continue the work begun by their father Thomas Ludwig, who passed away in 2013.
