F740
/in Handheld Meter /by adm1n1strat0rF740 Surface Resistance Checker
A comfortable portable device to determine the resistance of surfaces.
For the measurement of the resistivity of material surfaces as indication for chargeability and conductivity e.g. when changing material or for non-specifiable material. The SRM F740 allows through the measurement of the surface resistivity to infer the affinity of a material’s surface for electrostatic charge or the possibility for deliberate charging for adhesive matters. Addionally, the conductivity measurement (resistance to ground) allows to determine, if through earthing measures alone, electrostatic charge can be discharged.Application

Option Charge Plate Monitor
EFM022-CPM to test the performance of neutralising ionisers
With the Charge Plate Set 022 the EFM 022 turns into a Charge – Plate – Monitor (parallel-plate capacitor) to test ionising devices cf. standards EN 100015 bzw. EOS/ESD S.3.1. To this end, an insulated plate, mounted atop the EFM022 is charged up with highvoltage and placed with switched on meter brought in the operating range of the neutralising ioniser. Later should neutralise the charge now, which can be measured over time with the EFM022.
The charging electrode corresponds with its capacity of 20pF to the standards. The neutralisation time from + 1.000V to + 100V or – 1.000V to -100V is measured with a Start/stop Timer integrated into the EFM 022. Charging the capacitor plates is done with a HV converter, part of the whole set and powered via 9V rechargeable battery (incl. battery recharger).
The set contains:
- Carrying case with anti-static rubber foam inlays
- 3 pcs. 9V NiMH – rechargeable batteries
- Battery recharger for 9V r. batteries
- CPS device socket
- Plate Capacitor
- HV converter
- Ground cable 1,5m and 1m
- Crocodile clip
- Operating manual
Charge Plate Monitor
for the periodic manual test of the performance of anti-static ioniser according to standards EN 100015 or EOS/ESD S.3.1 respectively, refer to tab “OPTIONS”
