Passive Ionisers
/in /by adm1n1strat0rPassive Ionisers
Solutions with fibre tips, which have a natural ionising effect via air at a very small distance, without high voltage generation.

The passive ionisers discharge the material across a very narrow air gap due to the electric field that builds up naturally. However, this physical effect ceases at a certain field strength, as a consequence a passive ionizer does not achieve a deep residual charge. However, the discharge is sufficient to avoid sparks and shocks, but rarely to avoid adhesion (e.g. dirt, other materials etc.) or repulsion (e.g. ink droplet printing or telescoping of foil).

AC Highvoltage Power Supplies
/in /by adm1n1strat0rAC Highvoltage Power Supplies
AC high voltage power supplies for older electrodes up to max. 5.5 or 8kV, also with contamination and operation monitoring.
Our AC bars and AC nozzle solutions require a 5.5-6kV high voltage (HV) supply. Our corresponding high voltage power supplies are reliable, robust and durable. There is also a version with built-in contamination alarm and high voltage monitoring.
Since the high voltage cables at the electrodes to the power supply unit are shielded for EMC, the cables represent a capacitive load and must be taken into account when determining the power supply unit. Let us advise you on cable lengths and connections.
Ionising Airguns
/in /by adm1n1strat0rIonising Airguns
Manual ionising and cleaning: clean and discharge large surfaces so dirt particles have no chance to adhere again.
The airguns generate a lot of ions and thus allow large areas to be unloaded and blown off charged plates or objects e.g. prior to thermoforming or varnishing, after removal of protective film or after a cutting or milling step. This not only discharges the material but also dirt surfaces and reduces re-adhesion.
Ionising Airknife
/in /by adm1n1strat0rIonising Airknives
Airknives for use where sharply defined air streams with speed of up to 100 m/s are required.

Air knife for use where sharply defined air streams should separate material, form an air curtain or help to clean.
If you have a more complex cleaning application, you must note that simply blowing away dirt is not enough, but must be combined with an suction/extraction system and filter.
Ionising Blowers
/in /by adm1n1strat0rIonising Blowers/Vents
Blowers/fans to produce a lot of ionized air directly at the place of consumption.
Blowers and fans do not require compressed air and generate the air flow where it is needed. As with the blow nozzles, the goals here are to blow out or blow off a certain space in order to neutralise charge and dirt and keep it away. Depending on the air and antistatic requirements they are used in automated lines or manual workplaces/desktops, also in sensitive areas.

Ionising Nozzles
/in /by adm1n1strat0rIonising Nozzles
Permanently installed ion air nozzles to keep material dust-free, to cover large distances, to blow off complex shapes and for easy light cleaning.
The following objectives are usually pursued with ionising air nozzles: increasing the range of the ioniser, uniform ionisation of large and deep bodies and keeping surfaces dust-free.
If you have a more complex cleaning application, you must note that simply blowing away dirt is not enough, but must be combined with a suction and filter.

Special Bars
/in /by adm1n1strat0rIoniser for special areas
Electrodes for areas with special requirements or conditions such as ESD or EX protection.
Often, not only must a suitable solution be found for the electrostatic problem, but the solution must also meet certain requirements, standards or requirements.
In potentially explosive areas, electrostatics or their absence play an important role, whereby our ionizers can be used. However, the latter must be designed in such a way that they do not themselves constitute a source of danger. Our devices are certified according to the European requirement, i.e. ATEX.
In production areas of electrostatically sensitive products it is necessary to generate a deep residual charge. This applies, for example, to electronic components that suffer damage or, to some extent, in medical technology to prevent microparticles from adhering. In the IEC 61340-4-7 test procedure, the DIN EN 61340 standard clearly describes the conditions that an ioniser must meet (charge decay in less than 20s, offset plus/minus 35V).

Spot Type Ioniser
/in /by adm1n1strat0rSpot Type/Small Area Ioniser
Ioniser, which reliably neutralise the smallest areas of only a few square centimetres and are themselves very compact.
Wherever small areas of a few centimeters have to be unloaded, the installation situation is usually cramped. There each mm count. The products in this category are trimmed to small dimensions, even with the 24VDC variant with built-in high voltage. Spot type ioniser can, for example, ensure a clean print image before printing small areas, neutralise the milled material directly at the milling heads and, even mounted on robot arms, ensure unloading during handling.
Shortrange Bars
/in Antistatic Systems /by adm1n1strat0rShortrange Bars
Our standard bars for working distances of about 50 mm on average in ranges from 20 to 400 mm, without air.
If ionizers can be mounted close to the material, i.e. in the range between 20 and 150mm distance to the material, even with high material charges usually high voltage of > 12kV is not necessary. In the case of Longrange Bars this is only needed in order to overcome the distances. The electric field must be maintained there over a long distance, which is not necessary at close distances.

Hispeed Bars
/in /by adm1n1strat0rAntistatic Bars for Hispeed Applications
Antistatic bars, which perfectly discharge at high speeds of e.g. webs from 500 m/min up to 2’000 m/min
If materials and webs to be discharged move quickly (e.g. objects on very fast conveyor lines or foil and label material), the ioniser must also supply alternating positive and negative charges in rapid succession. Fast cycle frequencies are required, but this reduces the range. We have ionizers of different strengths at the start in order to also keep the distance as flexible as possible.
